Ellen Ziaja, M.D.

Dr. Ziaja received her undergraduate and medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. She also earned a masters degree in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Ziaja completed her internship and residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.


Dr. Ziaja is board certified in radiation oncology.  She enjoys the variety in treating all malignant sites and has a special interest in treating breast cancer and has extensive experience in breast, prostate and gynecologic  brachytherapy.  Dr. Ziaja implemented the Partial Breast Brachytherapy Program at St. Luke’s Medical Center.  She serves as a member of the Breast Cancer Quality Advisory Board, the National Accreditation Program for Breast Cancer Advisory Board for Aurora Health Care, Aurora’s Research Steering Committee and is the Principal Investigator for the NRG Radiation Oncology Trials at Aurora Healthcare.  She also is the Chair of the Cancer Committee at Summit Hospital.
