Michael Christensen, M.D.
Dr. Michael Christensen is a native of Southeastern Wisconsin and knew he always wanted to return and serve patients in the area upon completion of his training. He received both his undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Wisconsin at Madison and remains a dedicated Badger fan. He then completed a one-year internship at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee, WI before completing a four-year residency at Wayne State University and the NCI designated Karmanos Cancer Center in Detroit, MI. During and after residency, he published multiple peer reviewed articles and had numerous projects accepted for presentation at national meetings.
He joined Radiation Oncology Associates upon graduation from residency in 2013 and continues with the group as a ABR board certified physician. His practice is open to all adult patients.
In his time away from work, he enjoys watching all Wisconsin sports, hiking with his family, and finding live music to explore.
